The Florists

I envisioned a romantic private proposal dinner embraced with lush vibrant fragrant florals and warm candlelight. It felt as if I could see the expression of the person getting proposed to, when seeing the tablescape and realizing they were getting proposed to. My inspiration for this floral piece was my own experience of getting proposed to on Valentine's day by my fiancé now husband!

Background:

House of Bernal is a team of creative designers, a husband and wife with immigrant roots. They look to bring a vision to life through flowers and one-of-a-kind designs.

We met her in 2023 during our spray roses campaign. Jennifer had experience working with Rosaprima Roses before we met her.

I envisioned the first look to be a more traditional candlelight dinner with a classic, romantic table centerpiece, some sweet mini arrangements and candles. And to make the look a bit more dreamy I hung roses with velvet ribbons. Keeping the entire look very warm, lovey-dovey and intimate. Perfect for couples or even a double/triple date night in.

Background:

In 2013, Kimberly dipped her feet into the floral and events industry, knowing only that she loved weddings and being around flowers. Since then, she has successfully helped clients create truly one-of-a-kind and memorable events. Her one goal is to make each one a beautifully unique and authentic experience, tailor-made to fit each client's personality and vision.

By working with couples who realized their dreams, she had found her own life's passion.

Background:

Dogwood & Fir is led by Giberto Freihoff, the Creative Director, and his husband. They work with passion, creativity, expertise and their values.

We met Gilberto back in 2022 when we collaborated with the David Austin wedding rose Tess, one of his favorites. Since then, we have been mesmerized by his creativity and passion for flowers. He always exceeds our expectations.

Background:

In 2014, Paulina opened Blue Jasmine, naming it after her grandmother’s favorite bloom, with the idea of providing and teaching an aesthetic that spoke to my idea of beauty.

We met Paulina in 2023 through an incredible magazine we work with. We collaborated on a design project, and she got to work with our roses, especially RP Moab, on a fall installment. We were big fans of her work before even meeting her, and now she has joined us for this new Valentine's Day campaign, and we only expect the best.

Background:

Like mother like daughter! Alex has been surrounded by the beauty of flowers and the entrepreneurial spirit from a young age.

We met Alex back in 2021 when we featured her and her work in our Florist Spotlight segment. We love the colorfulness of her designs; we have collaborated with her many times and are really inspired by her branding.

Thomas established his studio in 2022. He set up a business focused on better ways of sustainably sharing his love for flowers.

We met Thomas in 2023; we shared with him a Sustainability report and then established a great relationship by collaborating on his Sustainable Flowers Project. He is joining us for our Valentine's Day campaign with his incredible designs and sustainable approach.
