RP Moab: Where Neutral Design Is Heading

22 July 2026

The neutral palette is changing. Browns, terracottas, light sienna, and rust tones, once used as accents to ground a design, are now the colors designers build an entire piece around. These warm tones hold their color under shifting light, sit well against almost any venue backdrop, and carry a design from ceremony to reception without reworking it along the way. The shift appears in tablescapes, bridal work, and editorial styling, wherever a cohesive, warm look matters more than a single standout color.

RP Moab

RP Moab is a clear example of this shift. Its color is a light brown pigment with warm tan undertones, capturing the warmth and depth of the sand found in Utah's Moab desert. It is what's known as a true nude, a warm neutral that sits between blush and brown without settling fully into either, which is part of why it pairs so easily with almost any other color, from soft ivories to deep wine and plum tones. In near-tone layering, it also works well: sienna against terra cotta, rust against amber, each shade blending into the next as if the light itself had shifted. That gives RP Moab a place in more than one kind of arrangement.

Wedding Season

RP Moab's range makes it useful for the season already underway. The stem runs 60 to 80 centimeters, with a full bud that holds structure in a compact centerpiece or allows it to stand upright in a taller installation. It works as easily in a monochromatic, tone-on-tone design as it does in a fuller arrangement with other colors. From a daylight ceremony through a candlelit reception, it carries the same character.

Into Fall

RP Moab's color deepens as the season turns, its sienna base settling into the darker, more umber end of its own range under fall's low, warm light. The bud carries that weight easily, dense and well built, and it anchors a fuller, more architectural fall arrangement on its own.
