Rosaprima Leaves Its Mark at Fleurs De Villes’ Floral Couture Debut in Chicago

Rosaprima, in co-sponsorship with Kennicott Brothers/Chicago, partnered this year with Fleurs de Villes for its debut event in Chicago from September 25-29th, 2019. The five-day exhibition showcased floral designs and luxury floral couture from fifteen of Chicago’s leading florists and event designers. Launched at the iconic 900 North Michigan Shops, the event included daily workshops by florists and other brand partners. It also showcased fresh flower market stalls for everyone to enjoy.

Fleurs de Villes has previously organized similar shows in several cities in Canada, and most recently in London, UK. Over 100,000 people experienced the exhibition in Covent Garden, a trendy shopping and entertaining hub. The objective is to launch the show in different cities to highlight floral design by bringing together the most talented floral artists, designers, growers, and world-class brands to create stunning works of art. The result is a unique experience with mannequins “dressed” in the most stunning floral gowns made of hundreds of fresh flowers.

Fleurs de Villes in Chicago brought together the most prestigious event designers and florists of the city, including HMR Designs, Kehoe Designs, Flowers for Dreams and Flower Firm. They certainly rose to the occasion creating stunning works of art that will long be remembered. The displays used all types of flowers and greenery, including hundreds of stems of the finest Rosaprima roses in White O’Hara, Playa Blanca, Sweet Akito, Vendela and Freedom.

Next stop, New York City!

Following the success in Chicago, Rosaprima is excited to partner again with Fleurs de Villes for their next installation which will take place in New York City. In an incredible 10-day activation from October 25th – November 3rd, 2019, the celebrated Hudson Yards will be transformed! In its place, a floral fantasy will emerge, featuring the creative talents from local designers such as fleursBELLA, Botanique, Until We Wed, Rachel Cho Flowers and many more.

We are excited to work with our friends at DVFlora to offer our roses for the creation of two mannequins that will be produced by Broadway’s hit play, Hamilton, alongside Damselfly Designs. The designs of the mannequins will be based on some of the play’s notable female characters. The full details are an exciting surprise, so stay tuned next week for an insider’s look behind the magic.
