For at least the past decade, National Red Rose Day has been celebrated in the United States on June 12th. Although we are not sure of the origins of this day, this year we wanted to join in and celebrate the marvel of red roses! They are, after all, one of our specialties!
One of the most beloved flowers around the world, red roses are admired for their elegance and timeless beauty. They represent love and romance, but can also convey other powerful emotions such as respect, gratitude, admiration, and courage. This “National Red Rose Day” we looked at our collection of red varieties and came up with our top five favorite reds for this year, each wonderful in its own way.
