Mother’s Day represents one of the most important dates for the floral industry. Roses are among the top gifts for wives, mothers, and mothers-in-law around the world! As such, every year during the months leading up to May, we prepare for the increase in production and demand that comes with this day.
As with every Rosaprima Campaign, our efforts related to Mother’s Day also respond to a guiding message or theme. This year, our Mother’s Day campaign had an important message based on the inspiring quote by Cheryl Lacey Donovan:
“Mother is a verb. It is not who you are, it is what you do.”
In the midst of a global pandemic, it has become evident (even more than usual), that mothers are the embodiment of strength and resilience.
Mothers all around the world have had to juggle work, children, housework, and other responsibilities while also taking care of themselves. And while this has always been true, the last year has brought more visibility to the demanding job that is being a mother in the modern world. With eyes in the back of their heads, and a hand always ready to reach out, mothers are a source of inspiration that should be recognized and celebrated at all times!
We believe Mother’s Day presents the perfect occasion to show our appreciation and this year’s numbers are a testament to that.
Thanks to the support of our customers,
3 million+ stems sent across USA & Canada
200,000 mothers received Rosaprima roses
1,444 employees worked on Mother’s Day orders
(fun fact: the most trending colors were lavender, pink, and yellow.)
Even though mothers should be celebrated and praised every day, we are happy we get to be a part of such a special celebration.
Roses are our way of saying thank you, and we are grateful for our customers who have also chosen Rosaprima roses to show appreciation to the most important people in everyone’s lives.
And in case you haven’t seen it yet, we invite you to watch our tribute to mothers on their special day below!
