Celebrating Mother’s Day

12 October 2022

Another of our beloved celebrations is Mother’s Day. Here in the United States (as well as in many other countries around the world), we celebrate it on the second Sunday in May. But other places use different dates throughout the year. In the United Kingdom (and a few other countries), however, it is celebrated on the fourth Sunday in Lent. Some countries even use March 8- the International Women’s Day celebration- to honor their mothers.

But no matter when, where or how the days when mothers, motherhood and/or maternal relationships are celebrated, what these days all have in common is that we are taking a small moment to express our immense admiration and gratitude for everything they have done for us. These incredible people that we call mothers are always rooting for us. They are as strong as a rock, yet sweet, loving, and tender as only they can be. They encourage us, guide us, and care for us even beyond their own selves. They will do the impossible for us and the family, and gladly sacrifice everything for our happiness!

However, and whenever you celebrate Mother’s Day, we hope it is full of laughter, sunshine, and love. Happy Mother’s Day to all!
