DETAILS
RP Flamingo was selected for its distinctive color, combining a medium pink exterior with a warm peach-coral center. Rosaprima grew the variety exclusively from the beginning, recognizing its ability to bring a different expression of pink to the rose palette.
Its development coincided with a growing interest in brighter, warmer floral palettes. In 2019, Pantone named Living Coral its Color of the Year, placing similar coral tones at the forefront of design. RP Flamingo offered that warmth through its own distinctive color transition, while its extra-large bud gave the color a generous presence. The variety later earned a Red Ribbon at the 2021 SAF Outstanding Varieties Competition.
A DISTINCTIVEEXPRESSION OF PINK
PINK TO PEACH
RP Flamingo transitions from medium pink outer petals to a warm peach-coral center, creating a natural progression of color within the rose. The contrast adds depth while keeping the palette cohesive.
GETINSPIRED
RP Flamingo brings warmth and color variation to floral design, working beautifully in romantic palettes and brighter seasonal compositions. Its pink-to-coral transition can add depth to monochromatic arrangements or introduce a warm focal point among softer tones. Its extra-large bud also gives it enough presence to carry a design, whether used selectively or gathered into a fuller arrangement.
