RP Exclusivities: Where Vision Becomes Beauty

20 October 2026

Every exceptional rose begins with a vision.

For Rosaprima, bringing a rose into the RP Exclusive Collection means recognizing something exceptional and developing it with the care and precision needed to bring that quality to life. Since 2015, only nine varieties have earned that distinction, each selected for qualities that set it apart in color, form, structure, or character.

Over the years, the collection has reflected changes in floral design, from growing interest in garden-style roses to a shift toward warmer, earthier color and more distinctive floral forms. Each RP Exclusive has its own story, shaped by what Rosaprima saw in the variety and the possibilities it could offer.

RP Black Pearl | 2015

The story of RP Exclusivities began with RP Black Pearl.

Personally selected by Rosaprima leadership, RP Black Pearl stood out for its deep crimson-red color, distinctive opening, and extra-large bud. It took nearly a decade to develop before becoming the first rose in the RP Exclusive collection.

RP Black Pearl

Its velvety petals and classic spiral form give RP Black Pearl a rich, unmistakable character, while its extra-large head creates a strong presence. In 2016, it received Best in Class for Standard Rose at the SAF Outstanding Varieties Competition.

RP Black Pearl established the standard for the RP Exclusive Collection: roses selected for qualities that make each one truly distinctive.

RP Aspen | 2018

RP Aspen was one of three varieties Rosaprima evaluated, alongside two sister varieties in green and yellow. After extensive trialing, RP Aspen was selected for its form, color, and stem length.

RP Aspen

Its white, garden-like form is defined by abundant ruffled petals that open layer by layer around a soft cream center. The large bud and long vase life complement its lush appearance and professional performance.

RP Aspen arrived as the garden-rose aesthetic was gaining attention for its romantic, abundant character. It received a Red Ribbon in the 2019 SAF Outstanding Varieties Competition and a Blue Ribbon in 2021, reinforcing its place in the collection.

RP Flamingo | 2019

With RP Flamingo, the distinction begins with color.

Its medium-pink exterior opens to a peach-and-coral center, creating a warm transition that gives the rose its unmistakable character. Introduced in 2019, RP Flamingo arrived as Living Coral was named Pantone’s Color of the Year, reflecting growing interest in warmer, more energetic tones.

RP Flamingo

Its extra-large bud and long vase life complement its distinctive color, while strong customer response has reinforced its place in the collection. Florists have repeatedly asked for Flamingo, demonstrating the lasting appeal of its color.

RP Moab | 2021

RP Moab began with a single stem.

Rosaprima encountered the variety when only a few plants existed and was immediately drawn to its unusual color. The team evaluated its productivity, stem length, bud size, vase life, and other commercial qualities before securing exclusive growing rights.

RP Moab

Its light sienna tone, with tan and terracotta undertones, introduced a more earthy direction to the collection. Its large, layered form and silky, velvety texture reinforce its warm color.

RP Moab arrived as floral design was moving toward more nuanced neutrals and earth-inspired tones. It received a Red Ribbon in 2022 and a Blue Ribbon in 2023 from SAF, reinforcing its alignment with that shift.

RP Espresso | 2024

RP Espresso stands out for its deep brownish-red color, inspired by espresso’s richness.

Its velvety petals and full form bring depth and warmth to the collection, reflecting growing interest in darker, more atmospheric tones. The color also presents a significant cultivation challenge: RP Espresso is highly sensitive to sun and radiation, making its tone difficult to reproduce consistently.

RP Espresso

In 2025, RP Espresso was presented alongside RP Moab and RP Midas Touch, bringing together deep brown, earthy tones, and mustard-gold in a considered fall expression.

RP Serendipity | 2024

RP Serendipity spent approximately three years in internal testing before joining the collection.

Its appeal comes from its structure: a soft pink garden rose with densely layered petals and an unusual green center. Its rounded form and tightly packed center create an intricate appearance, while the green eye gives the variety a distinctive point of contrast.

RP Serendipity

At a time when garden-style roses continued to bring volume and intricate structure to floral design, RP Serendipity offered a more unexpected interpretation through its soft pink-and-green combination. In 2025, it received third place in the Special Rose category at Proflora.

RP Midas Touch | 2025

RP Midas Touch was selected for its mustard-gold tone, unlike the traditional yellow expressions found in roses at the time.

The color reflected a broader movement toward mustard, ochre, gold, and earthy tones in contemporary floral design. Its pointed petals and extra-large bud give the color a sculptural form, while its long vase life adds to its performance.

RP Midas Touch

Bringing the variety into production also required balancing long stems with commercially viable quantities. In 2025, RP Midas Touch received a Blue Ribbon at the SAF Outstanding Varieties Competition, confirming that effort.

RP Filomena | 2025

RP Filomena is defined by variation.

Its medium-pink color evolves as the flower matures, creating subtle differences from one flower to another. Its extra-large bud, layered center, and softly sculpted form give it an elegant garden-like character.

RP Filomena

Rosaprima spent two years cultivating, evaluating, and refining the variety. RP Filomena received a Blue Ribbon at the 2025 SAF Outstanding Varieties Competition, reflecting that work.

Its individuality lies in the variety’s natural variation, giving each flower its own expression while maintaining Filomena’s character.

RP Popcorn | 2026

RP Popcorn makes an immediate impression through its crisp, brilliant white.

Its clean silhouette and precisely shaped petals give the variety a structured, contemporary character, while its large bud creates presence. It offers a distinct interpretation of white through precision and form.

RP Popcorn

As the newest addition to the RP Exclusive collection, RP Popcorn continues Rosaprima’s search for roses that bring something different to professional floral design.

A Collection Shaped by Vision

Since 2015, the RP Exclusive Collection has grown through selection, cultivation, and refinement. Some varieties began with a color that stood apart. Others were recognized for their form, structure, opening, or response to changing preferences in floral design.

From its first rose to its newest addition, each variety represents a distinct expression of what an exclusive rose can be, all grown exclusively by Rosaprima.
