Laetitia Mayor is one of Europe's most sought-after wedding florists. She was an engineer. It was in 2010, seeking a breath of fresh air from a technical career, that she enrolled in a one-month program at the School of Florists in Paris, just for the pleasure of it. She never looked back.
In 2012, she founded Florésie, a floral design studio rooted in the landscape of Burgundy: old stones, ancient wineries, centuries-old châteaux. That environment shaped her aesthetic deeply. She moves equally at ease through wild, overgrown woodlands and the precise geometry of French formal gardens. Her work has earned three Wezoree Awards and a reputation for bespoke, timeless Fine Art floristry that couples travel across the world to commission.
Today, Laetitia splits her time between fine-art wedding floristry across France and Europe and teaching her craft with established florists and those just beginning. She is also a committed advocate for foam-free working methods, always looking for new techniques that honor both the flower and the environment.
We sent her the Spring 2026 collection. This is her review.
Can you walk us through your experience working with Powder Puff? How did it behave in your hands, how did it perform in an arrangement, and what moment stood out most?
Powder Puff is definitely my fav variety among the new 2026 varieties. I was really amazed by their size at first! Also, it is very easy to push them to a full open just by twisting them in your hands (florists know the trick ha!). Their garden look is totally unique, and the color in the cold pink range with a heart that sometimes is a warm pink and sometimes is a light apricot color is very unique. The petals are very thin which make it look delicate although it is a very large bud. To me it will be a great flower to use in large arrangements, statement pieces or installations.
In your own words, what makes RP Filomena special, and what type of design or event would you naturally reach for it to anchor?
Again, I was very amazed by the size of the RP Filomena, these are definitely on the very large side. The colors are gorgeous and vary from bloom to bloom which make it very interesting to design with. I think these are perfect blooms for shops and bouquets, more than for event florists.
Florist Note: Work Filomena half-closed for best results. The bloom-to-bloom colour variation is a design asset — lean into it rather than trying to match identical tones.
Looking at the full Spring Collection, Fatima Gardens, the Moderna line (Dolce, Miele, Limoncello, Carezza), and the Floraprima varieties. What does each bring to your palette that the others don't?
Ok, Fatima Gardens is a big big crush for me, it makes me want to create full weddings around that bloom. The color is incredible, from cream to buttery yellow, I am totally IN LOVE. Also, the round bud shape is very versatile, it can be used half closed (round and cute) or fully pushed open (very lush and gardeny). Being able to use it at various opening stages is a total plus for such a variety, again, love love it!
Thinking about this year's wedding season — Which variety from this collection would you love to build a bridal concept around, and what kind of wedding aesthetic does it speak to?
Ha ha, I kinda already answered this question above! Powder Puff for sure. However, I would need to test them in the heat to see how they can perform in real wedding conditions. Fatima Garden definitely got my imagination going, as already mentioned! I could create a full concept around that bloom, so versatile, fresh, joyful and graceful. Love it!
Is there something you'd want other florists or buyers to know about working with Rosaprima and Floraprima — something that isn't always said out loud?
The roses are always a super high quality and the size of the buds are extremely large (large bud size is great for statement pieces and installations, but sometimes hard to use in centerpieces — we also love medium and small size buds such as Purity from David Austin, for example). We also had the chance before to work with your anemones and absolutely totally loved them for their deep colors, thick petals and incredible impact.
Generally speaking, when I can put my hands on your products, whether roses, ranunculus or anemone, I am always amazed by the flower quality, size and plumpness.
