As each flower reaches maturity it is carefully harvested by hand and then quickly taken to the post harvest facility where it is inspected to make sure optimal quality has been achieved. Only perfection is accepted, any rose that is less than flawless is discarded immediately and used as composting material.

The post harvest is the final stage before the flowers begin their long journey to the final consumer. Here flowers are prepared for the journey thru proper processing and packaging.

 

 

The post harvest is also where controlled test are performed on the roses to ensure quality. We replicate transit times, home environments, water quality, among others to make sure our roses will perform to standards.
